Answers to Frequently Asked Administrative Questions
1. What personal information is this site collecting?
We do not collect any personal information; however, Google Analytics is being used on this site to better understand things like how you're finding the resources, which of our resources you're using, and from which country you're accessing them.
2. How much do these resources cost?
Use of these resources is completely free!
3. What technical requirements are necessary to use this site?
Minimal technical requirements are necessary to use these resources. Visit the system requirements page for more information.
4. Do I receive any form of recognition for completing these resources?
The resources on this site are only resources. They should not be viewed as a Massive Open Online Course (a "MOOC") or any type of online course. As such, there is no certificate or other form of credential awarded if you review all the modules and/or score well on all the quizzes.
5. Can I get access to these materials in a language other than English?
No. Currently our resources are available only in English.
6. If I'm using this in my class, is there a way I can track how much work my students complete and how well they perform?
Unfortunately this is not possible at this time.
7. Is there any sort of personalized tracking to which I could have access?
Features that allow you to login and pick things up where you left off and/or see how well you performed across multiple visits are not ready yet.
8. I have an administrative question not listed above. What do I do?

Answers to Frequently Asked Questions About Use
1. How should I use these resources?
We deliberately don't want to dictate how you use our resources. They have been designed with both students and professors in mind, and while some examples are listed below, there are many more situations in which you may find them useful.
- Students can use these resources during their post-secondary classes as either supplementary materials to the class lectures themselves or as refresher materials to remind them what was covered in prerequisite courses.
- Teachers and professors wishing to try out a 'flipped classroom' could assign some of the lessons as homework and spend more time in class practising questions.
- Students who miss a class could use these resources to catch up.
2. May I use these materials in my classroom?
You definitely may use these materials in your classroom and you are encouraged to do so.
3. What resources are included on this site? How is everything organized?
Each course contains a set of modules, which can be thought of as chapters in a book. Within each module is a set of lessons or topics, which are similar to what you might see in a single class. These may include concept checks or quizzes.
4. Where do I begin?
Where you begin is really up to you. We assume the two most common ways of accessing the materials are to click through the courses and modules to find a set of topics that are interesting to you, or to enter a keyword in the search bar and find a list of modules, topics, and lessons that include material about the topic you've entered.
5. Can I use the electronic materials without being connected to the Internet?
No, you cannot. The course requires Internet access.
6. I'm still confused about the content. Where can I get more help?
We do not provide additional instruction beyond the lessons and activities included throughout our site. If you don't understand one of the concepts, we recommend reviewing the associated resources and/or contacting an instructor, teaching assistant, or friend.
7. I have a use question not listed above. What do I do?
